Acceptance of these terms

By using this website, submitting an enquiry or engaging Vyomkesh Solar for a project, you agree to these terms. If you are acting for a company, housing society or institution, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

Our services

We provide site assessment, system design, supply and installation of rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems, assistance with DISCOM net-metering and government subsidy applications, commissioning and optional performance monitoring. The exact scope, equipment, capacity and timelines for your project are defined in the proposal and work order you sign.

Calculator and estimates

Figures shown by the savings calculator, on project pages and in preliminary conversations are indicative. They depend on assumptions about tariffs, sunlight, roof orientation, shading, consumption patterns, interest rates and subsidy eligibility that can only be confirmed after a site survey. They are not an offer, a guarantee of savings or financial advice.

Proposals and contracts

After a survey we issue a written proposal that is valid for 15 days unless stated otherwise. A contract is formed only when you accept the proposal, pay the booking advance and we issue a work order. Where these terms and a signed work order differ, the work order prevails for that project.

Prices and payments

Unless the work order says otherwise:

• Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST at the applicable rate. Changes in taxes, duties or government levies after the proposal date are passed through at cost.
• A booking advance confirms the order and reserves materials. Further instalments are due before material dispatch and on commissioning, as set out in the work order.
• Delayed payments may pause work and attract interest at 1.5% per month on the outstanding amount.
• Central or state subsidies are disbursed by the government directly to the beneficiary and are not deducted from our invoice unless the scheme requires it.

Your responsibilities

To let us deliver on time you agree to:

• Confirm that you own the property or have the owner's permission, and share the documents needed for net metering and subsidy filings.
• Provide safe access to the roof, electrical room and meter, and disclose known structural, waterproofing or wiring issues.
• Obtain any society, landlord or municipal permissions required for the installation.
• Keep the sanctioned load, meter and DISCOM account in good standing.

Subsidies, net metering and approvals

We prepare and file applications on your behalf, but eligibility, sanction and disbursement are decided by the DISCOM, the national portal and the relevant ministry. Their timelines and decisions are outside our control. If an application is rejected for reasons attributable to the property or documentation, the project can proceed without the subsidy at your option, or be cancelled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Warranties

Warranties are stated in each work order. Typically:

• Solar modules carry the manufacturer's product warranty and a 25-year linear performance warranty.
• Inverters carry the manufacturer's warranty, usually 5 to 10 years, extendable at additional cost.
• Vyomkesh Solar provides a 5-year workmanship warranty on mounting structures, cabling and installation.
• Warranties do not cover damage from natural calamities, tampering, unauthorised modification, grid faults, or failure to follow maintenance guidance.

Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim connected with a project is limited to the amount you paid for that project. We are not liable for loss of generation revenue, loss of business, consequential losses, or delays caused by DISCOM, government agencies, weather or events beyond our reasonable control.

Website content and intellectual property

Designs, drawings, photographs, text and software on this website and in our proposals belong to Vyomkesh Solar or its licensors. You may use proposals for evaluating our offer but not share them with third parties for other purposes without written consent.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion within 30 days. Failing that, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order applies to that order.
